Flying colours
”Perroquet” is an interesting series that somehow is the perfect fusion between scientific and fashion photography. The parrot, dressed in colour feathers, is captured by a hight-speed camera stopping the motion of its flying subject. Much like Muybridge a century ago, the study of motion is still utterly captivating.
The Norwegian fashion photographer has a lifelong interes with scientific photography. In this series he photographed the parrot in a studio.
The images in the book are printed with high-gloss coating making the colours even more vibrant.
