Swedish photographer Catharina Gotby documented the farm Fårö Friggars. Through landscape photography and text, thoughts on geology, cultural history, climate change and perspectives on the human as part of nature are portrayed in this book.

In parallel with her restoration of the Fårö Friggars farm, Catharina Gotby has explored the site. In photographs and text, a careful depiction of the farm's land and landscape emerges. Geology, cultural history, climate change, sustainability and conservation of species richness are woven together with a perspective on humans as part of nature. Both growing and impermanence are prerequisites for existence.
