In the newly published monograph, seven years of Amalia Bille’s artistic practice are brought together — a period marked by work with ceramics as the primary material and an exploration of how the world of images can take three-dimensional form. The book includes documentation of sculptures, ink portraits, exhibitions, and a glimpse into Bille’s studio, along with three newly written texts: Marit Kapla’s essay Portrait of a Moment, Love Jönsson’s essay Weight and Lightness, and Pamela Jaskoviak’s poem The Horse’s Head.
