A pioneer and innovator of modern Swedish jewelry and the designer behind Georg Jensen's most famous designs: This is the story about Torun – her life and work.

The is the English translation of Ann Westin's wonderful book on Torun published in 1999 by Carlssons.

    From the publisher:
This is the exciting story about one of Sweden’s most important 20th century silversmiths and a master jewellery designer – Vivianna Torun Bülow-Hübe and her life.
Vivianna taught us to see the beautiful in a simple shape in silver. The watch with an open bracelet and a mirror disc without numbers made her world famous. She took a stand against racism in the 60’s and became friends with Jean-Paul Sartre, Pablo Picasso, Brigitte Bardot and Ingrid Bergman. In 1967, she was incorporated into the company Georg Jensen.
    Vivianna Torun Bülow-Hübe 1927-2004
Among her most important works are the watch ”Vivianna,” the bracelet ”Mobius,” and the earrings and necklaces ”Dew Drop.”
